One year VA High went to California to play in a tourny. Id say that would have been impressive to see.

if i'm not mistaken, they can only play 20 games regardless. gate city had to cut a game or 2 from the coca cola tournament because that would have put them over the limit that year.

Kelly plays Dunkirk, NY on Tuesday.

You just have to see how far you get in the tournament and how many games you play in it. If you go over, you have to start dropping some Nondistrict games on your schedule. If you don't play as many, you start picking up some teams later on to get your 20. I'd say Wyrick planned on playing between 3-5 games at Myrtle and adjusted his nondistrict schedule accordingly.

We never cut games, just didint schedule them, I played in the Pepsi Tourny at VA High/DB all 4 years I played, it was the best time I had playing baseball.

Va High played in a tourney out in Vegas last year and did well I think.

Va High, Sullivan South, and Daniel Boone are also playing along with Kelly down in Myrtle Beach.
